All You Need Is Love

Hi my stamping friends!

I know, it's been awhile since I have done a blog post!

I am a guest hopper this month for the Savvy 7 & Friends Blog Hop.....so fun!!

The theme is All You Need Is Love.

If you don't already know, I am a coach, a Senior Coach Leader actually now, with Fun Stampers Journey.  I have created this card using products from Fun Stampers Journey.

I started with a white card base and layered the patterned paper on top.  The pink layer was embossed in a heart pattern embossing folder and I put the paper in the folder on a diagonal for a different look.  I picked a few of the raised hearts to add on some Sparkle Dust.  The pink layer is adhered to the red layer and before attaching to the card I tied on the pink ribbon.  That whole layer is popped up with sticky-backed foam..

"Love" was die-cut and glued in place and for some extra embellishment, I added on a few pearls.

COLOR CHALLENGE

Hi My Crafty Friends!

Gosh, I'm sorry that it has been so long since I've posted.

Well, I decided to take part in this color challenge, because I do love

a challenge!  I find that it helps spark your creativity!

This challenge is from Can You Case It?

As you can see, the colors we are to use are orange, yellow and kraft.

Being a fairly new Coach for Fun Stampers Journey, I love playing

with my new products and sharing them with you.

For my colors, I chose Fun Stampers Journey cardstock in Banana Cream, Orange Creamsicle and Oatmeal Cookie.  For the inks, I used Pumpkin Bread and Oatmeal Cookie.  Doesn't it sound delicious?

The stamp set I went with is this set called Cozy Wishes.

Here is my card :)

I stamped the mug out once on Banana Cream and then again on Orange Creamsicle and cut out just the mug cozy in the Orange and then attached it to the mug.  I stamped the button on Oatmeal Cookie with the same color of ink and then went over the top of it with a little Pan Pastel in Dark Roast from the Mother Nature collection, and tied the button with some Journey twine in Natural.  The mug is sitting on a "coaster" that I die-cut using the Journey Circle dies.  For the coffee in the mug I added color using a water brush and Pumpkin Bread ink, but wanting it darker, I went back over that with some of the Dark Roast Pan Pastel and then topped it with Journey Glaze for the shine.  The bottom of the mug is attached flat onto the coaster, but popped up at the top with Journey Foam Squares for some dimension.  I made a little flag with the Banana Cream cardstock and stamped the greeting.  The embossed layer was done using an embossing folder from RG Richard Garay.  After embossing, I sponged Oatmeal Cookie ink over the raised image.  I embellished the card with some bronze sequins.

Announcement :)

Hi Stamping Friends!

I have made a decision!  On June 1st I am signing up with Fun Stampers Journey!

I am really excited and looking forward to it!

There will be a brand new catalog coming out in July and I can't wait to show you

new products and fun items made with their awesome products.

In the meantime, here is a little video of an ATC I made for our local stamp club exchange.  We have been following the alphabet and this month we had to make something using the letter "P".

I decided to use a fun new stamp set that I just got.

You will have to watch to see what I made ;)
